Join us for a cozy Friendsgiving at Forty Three! From 5-9 pm, we’re serving up a laid-back evening full of good vibes, great company, and a mouthwatering buffet of seasonal favorites:

November Baking Class: Classic pies with flaky crust
Learn to make pies with Chef Maggie! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to make a delicious apple pie with Streusel Topping, the secrets of flaky pie dough, how to make it, and the best way to roll it out and bake it. You will go home with recipes, an unbaked pie crust, and a 6” pie.
Chef Maggie is the owner of Magpie Sweets and Eats and a former Resident Chef at Sur La Table, where she taught cooking classes for four years.
Please come ready to get your hands dirty. We strongly encourage wearing comfortable closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting flour on, but you are welcome to bring your own apron. Chef Maggie is ready to answer all your questions, and you are welcome to take notes during class.

Come to 43 Bakery Sunday, July 14 and meet the folks at Glendale Neighborhood Council who are working hard to make Glendale a better place to live, work, and recreate. They will share what they have accomplished, what they are currently working on, and talk about our community's vision for the future of Glendale. Your input and support helps them realize projects and build our community. This hands-on class teaches you the secrets to baking better at higher altitudes. Once your cake is baked, Chef Maggie will take you through the basics of cake decorating to make you a beautiful dessert you will want to make again and again!
