What does “Forty Three” mean?

It’s a nod to Salt Lake City’s elevation — about 4,300 feet. This bakery is our love letter to Utah.

Who owns Forty Three Bakery?

Forty Three Bakery was founded by Andrew Corrao, an award winning chef with a background in fine dining and a love for pastry and community. Andrew built Forty Three as a place that celebrates Utah — its people, ingredients, and creativity.

Can I order ahead?

Yes! You can pre-order in advance. That said, you do not NEED to pre-order. We have fresh pastries, breads, and desserts daily.

Do you offer delivery?

We do not.

What's the deal with your croissant donuts?

Fried every Wednesday only. Flavors are Cinnamon Sugar and Vanilla Bean Glazed- can be preordered or purchased in store. Limited quantities.

How will I know my online pre-order is ready?

You’ll get a confirmation email after checkout- look in your spam folder, sometimes it ends up there. We will have orders ready for when you set the pick-up time!

Do you serve brunch?

Yes — check out our Brunch Menu for pastries, plates, and coffee.

Do you make custom orders?

On occasion and under some circumstances, we can accommodate a special request. We DO NOT offer custom cakes.

Any gluten-free or vegan options?

We occasionally offer them on our brunch and pastry menus, but our kitchen isn’t certified gluten-free or vegan. We do not offer gluten free or vegan pastries or desserts

Do you cater?

Yes! We offer large order pastry selections, grazing tables, and full event spreads. Email info@fortythreebakery.com for details.

Can I host a private event at the bakery?

Yes — contact us to check availability and for pricing!

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, in-store. If you are from out of town and want to purchase a gift card for a local, call us, we can help you.

What are your hours?

We’re open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday- Monday, 8am-3pm (Closed Tuesdays)— hours may vary on holidays.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, friendly dogs are welcome on the patio. Service animals are welcome inside.

Is there parking?

Yes, we have a dedicated parking lot plus nearby street parking.
